Description
Genuine Kart Republic 30mm rear axle, 30 × 5mm wall × 960mm long. Suits Kart Republic, FA Alonso and DAP Mini karts.
Choosing a grade. The axle is the biggest change you can make to rear grip. A softer axle adds grip, and a harder axle frees the kart off the corner. Grades are marked with dots on the axle, from softest to hardest:
- 1 dot: soft
- 2 dots: medium
- 4 dots: hard
- 5 dots: very hard
- 6 dots: extra hard
To stop the wheel hubs sliding on the axle, fit the Kartech Anti Slip Axle Key (AXK306AS, for 6mm key slots).
