Performance on the track is usually seen as the most important factor in kart racing. But above that should always be safety. From your driving actions to kart maintenance, safety must always be your number one priority in order for you and everyone else to enjoy the sport we all love.
At DPE we have created a Suggested Maintenance Schedule to assist you in checking that all aspects of your kart are safely maintained. This list is by no means exhaustive, and is only a suggestion of tasks and how often they should be performed. As always, use your common sense - if something looks loose worn or damaged, repair or replace it. If in doubt about anything, ask an expert who knows more than you!
